In Namibia :
• www.ambafrance-na.org: In 2009, the French-Namibian Cooperation offered a financial support to drill a bore in Wakaparue, in the centre of Kaokoland. In 2010, it financed the first initiative of collecting oral sources on Herero stories and traditions, in order to create a database on Herero cultures and to design the museum space of the cultural centre.
• www.fncc.org.na: The French-Namibian cultural centre in Windhoek has been supporting Kovahimba since its creation, regularly providing rooms and equipment. Kovahimba organised conferences, viewings and an exhibition designed by the Himbas themselves, between 7 October and 7 November 2008. Translated into French, the exhibition "The Himbas, a life in ochre" is presented in France in numerous festivals, cultural centres and libraries.
• www.omandatours.com: A Namibia-based travel agency founded twenty years ago by two Frenchmen, Vincent Henry and David Rey. They specialize in safaris in the North-West of Namibia (Kaokoland and Damaraland), in the Caprivi and in the Kalahari, out of the typical tourist paths. Since 2010, Omanda Tours has brought Kovahimba a logistical support.
• www.londiningi.com: More than an authentic charming guest-house, it is the place where the French-speaking tourists love going. Nathalie welcomes you in a friendly atmosphere (also in English and in Afrikaans). All the information on Kovahimba can be found there.
