“Immersion trip with the Himbas” – Trip in Namibia
Kovahimba Association offers you to join this amazing trip organised on the Himbas’ initiative.
During this extraordinary trip to meet the Himbas, you will be accompanied by Solenn Bardet who wrote the book “Pieds nus sur la terre rouge” (“Barefoot on Red Earth”) and shot the movie “Les Himbas font leur cinema” (“The Himbas are shooting”).
Muhapikwa and Karekare, friends of Solenn’s for several years, will host you in their camp (Kaokoland) for six days in order to share their culture and lifestyle.
This solidarity trip, organised in cooperation with the French travel agency Terres d’Aventure, will allow the association to finance a big part of the digging of the rig near the future Baboon Rock cultural centre.
Seven people will be the limit for this trip.
